Description

TURBOTECT EP-343 is specifically designed to improve the oil – water separation during the centrifuge treatment of heavy fuels prior to combustion in gas turbines.

Such treatment, known as “fuel washing”, is performed to reduce the level of sodium and potassium salts in the fuel. Sediments and other water-extractable impurities are also removed during the washing process.

Chemical demulsifiers play an important role in centrifugal and electrostatic fuel oil treating processes efficiently enhancing the separation of water-oil emulsions. Being surface-active agents demulsifiers improve the wettability of entrained solids and sediments as well as the quality of discharged effluent water.
